The Center Stage Project
An Anthropological Photographic Collection
I photograph live music and performance communities as a way of documenting culture as it happens. This project focuses on performers, musicians, and the moments that connect them (onstage and off) in spaces that are often temporary but deeply meaningful. This work is rooted in consent, respect, and care as the people that I photograph receive their images freely, with select work becoming part of a growing visual archive of contemporary performance culture.
At its core, this is about paying attention to scenes, rituals, and relationships that shape live performance while they’re still here.
