Scenes from Island Getaway Rum

Island Getaway Rum opened their new members-only space. Tucked away in East Dallas, the interior is retro-tiki-luxury, like a hard-to-get-into vacation spot in the 60s / 70s. Part tasting room, part social club, part tropical fantasy, the it is designed to feel discovered.

I spent an afternoon photographing the atmosphere… an idea which doesn’t necessarily make it onto a typical brand's shot list; however, these kinds of images can often tell you more about a place than the hero image ever could.
