Deep Ellum took a trip back in time as the annual Invasion Car Show rolled into Dallas. With Elm Street closed between Malcolm X Boulevard and Good Latimer Expressway, the neighborhood transformed into an open-air showcase of pre-1964 automobiles, vintage style, and hot rod culture. From custom builds and weathered classics to polished chrome and intricate details, the show celebrated automotive history and the personalities that keep it alive. The afternoon also included a crowning of Miss Invasion, a pin up contest that is voted on by the audience at Trees. It was a perfect afternoon for exploring the sights, textures, and character of one of Dallas' most iconic neighborhoods.
